Welcome to our website. The Night of Peace Family Shelter, Inc. is a faith community resource serving homeless families in Baltimore County, Maryland.

We provide emergency shelter and transition planning for homeless families for up to four months as they seek to reorganize their lives. We are Christian churches in mission together who take to heart the powerful message of Isaiah 58...

"share your bread with the hungry, And bring the homeless poor into your house."

The meaning of our name is expressed in our actions as a shelter: our goal is to provide as much safety, security, encouragement, nurture and support as we are able in order to facilitate the empowerment of our guests in their difficult challenge to secure permanent housing. As the basic needs of a person are provided, we see their God given ability to transform their lives and reveal a renewed hope for the future.

Join with us, pray with us, pray for the families we support and for homeless persons everywhere. Become an agent of change by volunteering with us or by supporting our work financially.
